Rocketeers Host iOS Boot Camp

A group of Rocketeers held the third annual iOS boot camp at our Bottle Rocket offices on Saturday, April 13. The free boot camp attracted more than 30 students from local colleges, including SMU, UTD and UTA, who were interested in learning about iOS development from some of the best in the business.

Attendees received a one-day crash course in iOS apps, learning about everything from the fundamental language to building a fully functional app. Those present also heard from Rocketeers who belong to different departments within Bottle Rocket, giving attendees the full scope of the mobile industry.

This year’s organizer, Rocketeer Austen Green, said the boot camp was a huge success, with the possibility of future internship candidates and takeaways that will make next year even better.
