Rocketeer Charity: Sci-Tech Discovery Center

This week, the Sci-Tech Discovery Center was selected as our second charity of the month. The organization provides children of all ages and backgrounds with hands-on experiences in math, science and technology. Hoping to inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists, educators and innovators, Sci-Tech hosts summer camps, parties, youth programs and more.

Rocketeer Laurie Irish-Duncan submitted the Sci-Tech Discovery Center for the drawing because the organization does so much to get kids excited about math and science. She has also participated in the organization’s annual Braniac Bowl, which is a big game of trivial pursuit that helps raise funds for the organization.

We do quite a bit of math and science here at Bottle Rocket, so we can’t think of a better organization to support than one shaping our future.
