Rocketeer Charity: Rocketeers Support Camp Invention

This month, we are supporting Camp Invention, which is a nationally recognized summer program focused on creativity, innovation, real-world problem solving and the spirit of invention.

Camp Invention partners with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the Collegiate Inventors Competition, and everything they do is inspired by the world’s smartest inventors.  Their top priority is to provide quality programming in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Their summer enrichment day experience is designed for children entering grades one through six. Free to schools and organizations that host our program nationwide, Camp Invention features collaborative learning opportunities led by local teachers in a safe environment. They strive to enhance each child’s ability to learn through teamwork and subject immersion while providing exciting challenges and cultivating a new appreciation for discovery.

This organization was submitted by Lauren Hasson, who got involved in extracurricular STEM activities at a very young age through programs similar to Camp Invention’s and these early-childhood activities contributed to her later pursuing an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and computer science.

Perhaps Camp Invention is grooming a new generation of Rocketeers…
