Bottle Rocket today announced that it has begun development of multiple iPad apps. Some apps are optimized versions of existing iPhone apps and some are new apps built exclusively for the iPad announced today by Apple.
The iPad stands as the middle ground between a full-blown laptop computer and an iPhone.
Steve Jobs was quoted today saying "It's so much more intimate than a laptop and so much more capable than a smart phone."
Bottle Rocket intends to help Apple fill that gap with excellent iPad apps to compliment the amazing new iPad device. Bottle Rocket has also begun conversion of multiple custom-developed apps for its clients. Those titles will be released in the next 2 months to coincide with the availability of the iPad.
Bottle Rocket was there when the first apps shipped on the iPhone in 2008. Bottle Rocket was the first iPhone developer to release an iPhone app that controlled hardware that was widely available in retail stores in the summer of 2009. Bottle Rocket will be one of the first iPad developers when the first iPad apps ship this year.
