The “d2u app” combines a world-class voice recorder with the UK’s Number One Transcription Service to provide you with the best dictation and transcription solution available. Record, edit and upload a digital recording then have the file accurately and efficiently transcribed to text anywhere, at anytime. All you need is an Internet connection. It’s easy to use, yet safe and secure (128 bit encryption).

Rest assured that your information is protected by encrypted uploads and professional staff under non disclosure and the highest level of data protection with the Information Commissioners Office (registration number Z189181X).

Turnaround of work: We will transcribe the file into a “Microsoft Word Document Format”, (or if supplied, into users’ own templates), and return the document to the originating email address or it can be retrieved from your personal and secure d2u account page.

IMPORTANT: To use the transcription features of this app, you will need a d2u account. You can register for an account inside the app. The d2u app is FREE to download and test making a recording. There is a charge for each dictated minute transcribed. It is important to recognise that people dictate 3 to 4 times more quickly than they type, (and approximately 7 times more quickly than they write), so a 10-minute dictation could take 30 to 40 minutes to type. With d2u you only pay for 10 minutes with a typist you would pay for the 30 to 40 minutes.
